Formerly known as SkyDrive, OneDrive is the relaunched version of Microsoft’s company cloud storage service. It provides automated cloud storage service targeted at mobile devices with Microsoft, iOS or Android software. Users can store images, videos and documents to a personal cloud accessible from anywhere. Basic 7GB access is free with sign-up, and 50, 100 and 200GB upgrades are available at $2 per GB. Similar to Google Drive, multiple users can download, edit and readily access office documents in the cloud. A pleasing aesthetic interface allows for smooth browsing and houses tight integration for Microsoft users. OneDrive is not much different from competitors such as Google Drive and Dropbox, and features across the board compatibility with all mobile and major operating systems.
