The League of Honest Coffee
The League of Honest Coffee humbly began as the Brunswick East Project, a self-roasting start-up cafe that has since moved forward from its two-man coffee brewery to the welcoming streets of Melbourne as Padre Coffee. The League of Honest Coffee is the flagship store which features two pastel green Slayer espresso machines, bringing together the concept of wilderness meets contemporary city living. The earthy feature art wraps the wall, showcasing custom crockery, unique cafe trinkets and serious utensils for coffee enthusiasts. An espresso starts at $3 and increases if your heart desires the complex flavours from syphon and chemex extraction. The house blend, Daddy’s Girl Blend, is amazingly smooth and packs a punch for the real coffee lovers. For the fun and fancy, they have seasonal and single origin blends that are accessible by special request. The floor plan is cause for close-knit interaction – ideal for meetings and dates – and they are always welcoming to large groups. A cool Melbourne joint for a great coffee with fresh ambience and friendly service.
